Johnny’s flamboyant stage presence and thumpin’ bass are a featured component of the dysFUNKsion formula.
Connie is your typical type A personality, but when she puts on her disco shoes, she's all about having fun!
Ricky thrills audiences with his eclectic brand of rhythm, funk, rock and soul guitar.
If you are fan of beauty, brains AND talent, then you will love the elegant vocal flair of Jodi Sakas.
Jeff is quick to make playful winks at the screaming female fans and kick his chair out from under him just to spice things up.
Jeff Baxter
Jeff is not only an awesome vocalist, but he is quite the comedian and plays piano to boot! You gotta see this guy's dance moves!
Born in New Orleans and raised in Seattle, Fritz has been fortunate to travel much of the world playing his horns! You will love watching the big dude get down!
Jimi's versatile drumming style will keep you on your feet - thumpin' with his driving beat.
Home About Us Jeff Baxter
Jeff Baxter
Jeff Baxter, known to us as “Baxter”, was born in the Midwest and relocated to the Northwest when he was 7. He started out playing the baritone horn in 3rd grade, but that didn’t impress the girls much, so he started singing….now, THAT made the girls go crazy! He had found his nitch. Jeff continued singing all the way through college and like fellow band mate Jeff Lund, Baxter performed with “Soundsation” while he attended Edmonds CC as well. They opened up for acts such as Bill Cosby and Ernestine Anderson. Jeff moved on to finish up his college years at the UW, graduating with a BA in Communications with an emphasis in advertising. (Note to self: Why am I not having him do this?) Jeff is not limited to just vocal and comedic talent! He is also a fantastic piano player!
Jeff has two lovely and intelligent teenage girls and is still married to his 1st Wife Kathleen! (I wonder if he knows he’s a collector’s item?) Jeff loves the music of Chicago, Elvis, The Who and his favorite band is Spinal Tap (“it goes to 11…”), once you meet Baxter, you’ll see why. We love our Baxter – he is a jewel!
